you want to go to their website. The articles on this website are useful for
new and veteran teachers to read to see what’s going on in the world of
education.
Completing this project helped me look at new resources to
add to my repertoire. In looking at different types of information (social
media, journal articles, websites, etc.) I was able to see the wealth of
information the internet has to offer. The limitation of my sources is that I
would have liked to find a site with more visual material such as posters or
infographics strictly relating to social studies; I was able to find American
sites like this. A strength I found in this assignment was that I was able to
relate social studies to my main teachable of drama. When I found the article
about teaching social studies through the arts I was eager to read on and happy
to see that other teachers had the same ideas of education as myself. Overall I
found that this assessment was useful as I know have a compilation of resources
to use and I enjoyed fending my own resources that suited me best.
